Amanda is currently the Managing Director of the gener8tor Cybersecurity Accelerator and the founder and CEO of Javilud. Previously, Amanda was the vice president of cybersecurity and director of CyberSecurity San Antonio at the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Amanda implemented federal cyber policy at the White House, and worked in communications, policy and community relations at the Kaiser Family Foundation and the LULAC National Office.

Amanda is a Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project. In 2020, Amanda was nationally recognized as a Latinx Next Gen Leader in national security and foreign policy. Amanda is the author of a forthcoming children’s book series on cybersecurity. She is also the founder of National Cyber Signing Day.

Amanda serves on the board of directors for Family Service and the SAISD Foundation, as well as co-chair of Prosper West’s Small Business Impact Committee. Amanda serves as a Commissioner on the San Antonio Mayor’s Housing Commission.
