Every year, UEDA provides competitive Awards of Excellence in recognition of outstanding economic development initiatives, research, or accomplishments. Proposals are submitted to the Awards of Excellence committee who choose the finalists. This year, the finalists will present their projects at the UEDA Summit at South Bend, Indiana, where attendees choose leaders within the following categories:
- Talent
- Innovation
- Place
- Engaged University
- Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI)

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the process, and hear from the insights from our previous category leaders from the 2023 competition:
