Dr. Marti Venn is Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs with the Board of Regents-University System of Georgia.  She has 19 years as an academic administrator from department chair, dean, and provost.  Dr. Venn currently oversees academic programs, policies, general education, faculty affairs, and faculty development for the University system.  Her core responsibilities include overseeing new academic degree approval processes and procedures, post approval monitoring of new degrees,  and the annual academic forecast by the 26 institutions to ensure that the system and the campuses are focused on degrees needed to support the state of Georgia.
