Brittany Sickler currently leads EDA’s new Networks division, which seeks to strengthen economic development strategies and create the conditions needed to share actionable insights across the economic development landscape. This growing portfolio centers on developing stakeholder networks to assist EDA grantees with community connections, technical assistance, and best practices to scale and accelerate long-term impacts. Prior to EDA, Brittany spent almost nine years at the U.S. Small Business Administration, most recently in the Office of Investment and Innovation where she managed several technology-based economic development programs in support of the Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) programs – known as America’s Seed Fund. Brittany holds a Master’s in Community Economic Development and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala.
