Virginia City Tour

The Virginia City Tour is a  is a 6-hour tour. Guests will be transported from Reno to beautiful Virginia City   Our Convention Activities guide will narrate and point out interesting sights along the way. Established in 1859, Virginia City became the richest mining town in the world.  San Francisco was built from the mines of the Comstock and the Civil War was partially financed from the gold and silvers discovered beneath the city.

Inclusions:

  • Round trip transportation; Professional driver and driver’s gratuity
  • Convention Activities guide; Narrated tour throughout
  • Trolley Ride Ticket
  • Lunch at a local restaurant in Virginia City, including taxes and gratuities

Tesla Gigafactory Tour
Tesla’s Gigafactory 1 is located in Sparks, Nevada, about a half hour east of Reno. The 5.8 million square foot factory for the Tesla car batteries, Powerwalls, and Powerpacks is currently under construction. Tours will last 1.5 hours with 45 minutes touring the external property and 45 minutes touring the internal property. There are three tour times available with transportation provided for all tours.
General tour details:
  • The tour lasts about 75 minutes, mostly walking
  • Visitors must wear long pants, comfortable closed toe shoes, and a shirt with sleeves (T shirts are fine)
  • No pictures, video, or audio recording allowed
  • Visitors 18 and older must provide photo ID and sign a visitor NDA
