2010 Elections of Officers and Board Members Dear UEDA Voting Members: UEDA will elect a Vice President and four (4) members of the Board of Directors (two-year terms) at the Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Reno, Nevada. Nominations are now being accepted for each of these positions. Forms to submit nominations are attached. Please contact the UEDA member you wish to nominate before submitting to ascertain that he/she is willing to accept the nomination and related responsibilities. All candidates are expected to submit a photograph (jpg or tif) and biographical sketch by October 1, 2010 and will be asked to make a brief statement at the annual meeting prior to the election. Those elected are expected to attend the Board of Directors meeting scheduled on Wednesday morning, November 10, 2010 following the Summit. UEDA welcomes and encourages self-nominations. Serving as a UEDA board member or officer is a rewarding experience and provides opportunities for professional growth and development. Please note that only Voting Members are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. An organization may change its Voting Member to accommodate this requirement.
