• The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development is gathering information on states that provide funds to support the hiring of “star” faculty for their state’s institutions of higher education. For example, Pennsylvania provides competitive grants through the Keystone Innovation Starter Kits program to support hiring packages to attract highly qualified faculty.
