Community + Collaboration + Innovation
Collaborations between higher education, community, and private sectors partners have never been more important than they are right now. Like many communities across our country, Pittsburgh has worked to build strong working relationships among its higher education institutions, businesses and non-profit leaders to reinvent its economy and its future pathway. That is why we are pleased that this year’s UEDA Summit theme, “Bridging Opportunities: Community, Collaboration, Innovation” will help to shape our program and best practice sharing in our host city, Pittsburgh – The City of Bridges.
When & Where?
October 27-30, 2013
For travel purposes, attendees should plan on arriving before 1pm on Sunday, with the conference wrapping up at noon on Wednesday.
Omni William Penn Hotel
From National Geographic Traveler:
Three rivers. One reinvented city. On all counts, the Steel City’s transformation over the past quarter century qualifies as revolutionary. Its mourning for its industrial past long concluded, this western Pennsylvania city changed jobs and reclaimed its major assets: a natural setting that rivals Lisbon and San Francisco, a wealth of fine art and architecture, and a quirky sense of humor.

Exhibiting & Sponsorship/Support
UEDA sponsors, supporters, and exhibitors are critical to the operational success of the 2013 Summit. Sponsorship and supporter investment further helps to sustain and grow the organization, bringing high profile attention and recognition to each sponsor organization. A variety of levels and events are now being offered with limited availability. Securing these opportunities early will gain your organization increased exposure on registration brochures, the UEDA website and in our regular Summit communications. We encourage and appreciate your support.
